What we score every tool on
- Output quality — is the result actually good enough to use, or does it need heavy fixing?
- Ease of use — how fast can a normal person get a useful result?
- Value for money — is the paid plan worth it, or is the free tier (or a cheaper rival) enough?
- Pricing honesty — hidden limits, credit systems, surprise upgrades, cancellation friction.
- Who it’s actually for — beginner, pro, team, or a specific job. The “best” tool depends on you.
How we keep it honest
- We test the free plan too. Often our recommendation is “start free” — and we’ll say so even when the paid plan pays us more.
